I am sure there are lots of us out there who would like to hear of your experiences with the 42 after you get to know your new boat a little better. In particular, if you have any recommendations for other new or potential 42 owners on how to set the boat up, we would be keen to hear from you.

Congratulations on your new cat, we are severely jealous!!! We, like Matagorda, are expecting our new 42's very late this year, or early next. We are boatless for now, it's rough. We too fell in love with the new 42, what's not to love? She is a real beauty, and is all we could want.
The misses wants to know how thick the mattresses are for proper fitted sheets. If you could let me know, that would would be awesome. See you out there some day!!

We have 42 on order with factory air and factory genset, therefore only 1 water tank. It has 1 forward single berth. Looking for area to place additional water. 1 thought is flexible water tanks/ (Water ballast bags).

hoping to be out of factory in late August and BVI ready for charter end of October.

We have also ordered the factory genset and will be looking for a good way to add an additional water tank. Please keep us posted on your eventual solution. Our dealer has fashioned many aftermarket tanks on Lagoons (and many other catamarans). He has expressed confidence that a good solution can be found.
