450: Lagoon 450

Does anyone know if the Lagoon 450 current model will be upgraded in 2014 as l am intending to purchase a 450 now?

Have you asked your broker? He should be aware of any changes coming in the new product year.

I think you're OK. The 450 replaced the 440 which ran from 2004 to 2010 and produced 423 units. The 450 still has a couple more years.

TOT, I just placed an order yesterday for a L450 via Simpson Marine here in S'pore and asked this very question. The answer was that Lagoon hasn't any significant planned changes for the boat in 2014. I was also informed that they are quite secretive about releasing upgrade info. I would still pose this question to your agent/broker however.

They are however testing flexible solar panels fitted above the rear deck roofing as Lagoon are seeing a nr of clients not taking their standard design and doing their own thing.

We've confirmed a delivery of January 14 to S'pore followed by a shake down and modification period and then off in July. Likely to be 3-5 yrs, but who's counting!

No l do not see any changes but l would prefer to have a hull moulded in 2014 and registered in 2014 (there is a difference) for resale value.
