Lagoon 440 rain leaking through engine hatch into engine bays

Hi all,

Did a search on this forum thinking this issue may have been addressed before but had no luck.

I get a bit of fresh water sitting in the engine bilge just below the bilge drain hole that I'm pretty sure is leaking through the manual rudder access cap located on top of the engine compartment hatch.

I've been unable to source the appropriate rubber o-ring, but still not sure if that's the solution.

BTW, when I just searched the beneteau parts web page, Lagoon 440 isn't on the list...anyone else notice this?

Regards as always

The 440 is on the Beneteau USA website , the part is called Inox Deck Filler #066260

You can make a new O ring, buy one that is too big, cut it and join with superglue.
