Lagoon 420 Ground Tackle etc

We just bought a lagoon 420 in Europe. It has 38m of 10 chain and a 20 kg plough
I had almost that much on my old farr 7.5 So feel that a lot more is needed
Can someone suggest what a boat of this weight and surface area ought to have in order to stay put?
Also we have to do the registration and have to find out stuff for the builders cert
Does anyone out there know how to answer thise questions for an Aus builders stat dec?

Re: Lagoon 420 ground tackle etc

the boat should come with the original Laggon builders certificate with all the details for Aus registration. You will need the certificate for other things as well, insurance, marina entry, customs etc. Aus registration is pretty easy but can take a month or so with mail back and forth. My new Lagoon 380 has 75m chain plus 25m nylon rode and a 20kg delta anchor which seems adequate so far. Depending where you will be cruising but I would be investing in a bigger modern anchor and more chain mate.
Cheers

I put a 60lb Manson Supreme on our 420. I figure you can't have too big an anchor. Fits OK, although it doesn't sit perfectly on the roller.

I have 100m. Never had occasion to put out more than 50-60
