I think maybe the mono makers are trying too hard (two wheels on a 39' boat?) and the cat makers are not trying hard enough.
I recently spoke to an insider and most design is being done by stylist's, interior rules so outside lines suffer. = Form follows function.

We moored along side a new smaller Lagoon and was astonished just how much sleeker/lower our 440 is. The design now is so slab sided the windeage would be difficult to deal with..

Interior wise they are an IKEA Replication, suits some but looks too much like a caravan, FP's have gone same way although tending to go away from the silly ironing board shapes.....

Watching with interest how these huge foretriangle boats are handled short handed.

The furlers will want to be upgraded!

Re: Lagoon 39

Thanks! You take any of the cockpit? Also, maybe one of the interior taken facing forward to get a full frame of the interior?

Bummer . It was uploaded as a JPG. The forum software might have done that.

Re: Lagoon 39

Thanks for the photos, Magenta. I particularly like the "overlay" with the Lagoon 380. This graphically shows where the L39 is larger. Is there any chance you could produce one with the L400/L39?

One thing that no one (?) has mentioned is the change of helm position, from port on L380 & L400 to starboard on L39. This brings Lagoon over to the "right" side, ie same as FP, Leopard, etc. (Rolls-Royce?). I prefer a starboard helm over port, but prefer a central helm to either. I concede that central helms get in the way of social activities and dual helms are even worse, so both are rare on production boats. In line with the helm side swap, the "owners side" on the 3 cabin models have changed to port. This probably makes sense because helm related cables and controls would impinge into the cabin below. Not as bad if it is the guest cabin. And the noise of foot tapping to loud music by a tired helmsman trying to stay awake won't disturb a sleeping partner quite as much either!
