Lagoon 380 S2 windows

Looking for some help with a repair problem concerning the fixed hull windows. The white paint (?) pattern on the outside has been damaged and I wish to repair it. I just assume there is a screen/mesh or something similar used to get that pattern and I need some input on where to locate it. I also need to know what must be used to remove the paint already there. Help please!

Go to the lagooncatowners yahoo forum. There is a thread going on right now about that very problem. seems some people have gotten decals/stickers , either privately or from Lagoon to place over the windows.

johnboy.perkins,

This is what lagooncatowners describe.

As you describe the portlight coating was damaged. We removed them and
replaced them with "decals" that we got from Lagoon. They look exactly like the
original except for the horizontal blue accent stripe. As opposed to being
painted on, which is what is done originally, the decals look a lot sturdier.

We used acetone to remove the painted on pattern. It took a lot of elbow
grease. I've been told the MEK works a bit better.

We considered just cleaning off the portlights and leaving them clear but
decided that the decals would look better.
