450: Iridium Go unlimited.

Just about to install an Iridium go / marine kit. Is anyone using the unlimited data plan and if so, can I get this in Portugal. Is it a case of buying a sim and setting up preferred plan online or so I need to buy a specific sim for the plan I require.

My supplier in Portugal is a bit rubbish with their product knowledge so any help gratefully received...

i purchased 3 sim cards, delivered with iridium go hardware. Now i have unlimited plan that was activated on-line.

easy-peasy.

If you do not have sim, need to get it from the source. That was in my case satphonestore - few words shop.

Yep, bought mine thru Predict Wind as you can cancel at any point and then when you need it again (next ocean crossing etc) and yes, the unlimited plan is great. Unlimited weather forecasts!
