FINALLY Boarding Our 400 S2!!!!
Well the Process started in August 2014 and the build was finished December 4th 2014. Why it took until April 9th (5 days after we left Tortola).... to go from France to Tortola is anyone's guess.. But the TIME HAS COME as we are Boarding "Terres Fin" on Saturday May 9th. I am dripping with anticipation. I will be posting about our travels Daily. If any CF Members plan on being in the Vicinity, give us a shout and we'll try and Hook up..... Sure wish Monte & Jen were there, but they are heading South.......

Wahoo, congratulations Nick & Heather, that's Awesome news! Take care and keep us updated. We're currently in Martinique but other wise would be there in a flash for a jam. Any CF readers in the area, we highly recommend catching up with Nick and Heather for an unforgettable night. Take a bottle of JD honey and a guitar and enjoy the amazing sounds provided by Nick!!!

Congratulations on your S2, it is indeed a thrill when one finally takes delivery after all the agonizing time we go through in the decision making process, I am very sure you will be well rewarded with your decision.

Oh My!!!!!! Our 1st trip has Concluded...... We were in Tortola in March, when we were told our 400 would be delayed. They Put us on a similar 400 (not quite) where I began my sailing training from SCRATCH..... I Didn't know a Halyard from a Topping lift lmao....... because we had to replace an incompetent Captain, I lost 2 days of training but I was Rescued by a Terrific Captain Named Reed, that resides in Tortola..... Well I learned how to sail in 12 days...... We boarded our New Cat, "Terres Fin" on May 23rd. Not being a cocky fool & thinking I would take her out Myself I employed Capt. Reed for a 2 day Refresher course after which, he set me loose, with his Blessing..... Well, we did it!!!!!! We sailed for 12 days without incident doing all facets of Sailing, Mooing, Docking et al...... I am proud of my wife and myself as we our well on our way to our "Dream Come True"..... What a Fabulous Yacht..... What a Fabulous Life!!!!!!

Congratulations that's awesome! Glad to hear you are following your dream

Whatever you do don't get complacent. I have been sailing 24+ years and I still learn something new every time I go out.

Keep us posted with your adventures and progress. It is nice to see someone being able to live the dream they've dreamt!!!!

Sorry we missed you guys.... I brought my guitar and Played a Solo set at the "Elm Bar" In Cane Garden Bay, Did a bunch of songs at "The Last Resort" in Trellis Bay & A Private concert on Someones Cat..... What a BLAST...... I may actually have some Gigs when we go down for 3 weeks in August, if not I have the Boat Rigged for Amplified Music & Karaoke from now on!!!!!!! We Miss You Guys
