Experienced crew available for a long passage on a Lagoon 440 or 450. non smoker

Hi All
First post here, but an active member on other yachting forums.

My wife has decided that our next yacht is going to be a Lagoon 440 or 450. I love the space, the size will work great for the two of us, but before we actually part with any serious money I would like to do a decent milage delivery.

We have thought about chartering, but to be honest I know full well that floating around the Med for a weeks island hoping will be amazing.

What I really want to know is how it actually feels on long passages and set up with cruising gear.

Experience wise, I am a Commercially Endorsed Yacht Master (Power) and used to work as professional crew (all be it a while ago) on sailing yachts up to 75ft. And whilst we have been doing more motor boat stuff for the last five years I know one end of yacht from the other, can navigate, stand a watch etc...

We are based in the UK, but I am relaxed about where the delivery starts and ends and would be able to commit enough time to do a TransAtlantic for example.

Hope to hear from someone soon
