Different Lagoon Models

I am having trouble figuring out what Lagoon made in what years and how to find the layouts of them.

There was a 400, 410, 420 right?
But not all being built in the last 10 years?

Does anyone have a chart?

I guess I could ask Lagoon but CF is pretty good at stuff. Lagoon may just tell me what the new stuff is, ya know.

Re: Different Lagoon Models

This page shows all the former models, how many were produced and what years. I think they have a typo because they list 2 420 sets of stats. The 2008-2010 model is a 421. (I think)

Re: Different Lagoon Models

I emailed Lagoon about 2 years ago and got the totals for all boats and I posted them in this thread. I don't think I got the years of production but that's pretty easy to figure out from when the old models were phased out.

Thanks for those two links.

It helps.

Seems the 410 and 420 are not being built. Just the 400 I guess.

Re: Different Lagoon Models

There was a lengthy discussion earlier about the 420. Lagoon had tried to make one hull for sail and power boats. The power part didn't work out but it was pretty good at sailing. So they revised the hull a bit and got rid of that weird thingy by the rudder and the 421 was born.

BTW The Lagoon TPI 42s were made in the US and are considered one of Lagoon's best boats. Good luck finding a good deal on that one.
I'm rootin' for ya!

If you go to a boat show, the lights will start to come on.

The big three Catamaran companies, 1) Lagoon, 2) Fountaine-Pajot and 3) Leopard, have to keep moving and innovating to keep selling boats.

If they try an improvement and the Cat does not sell, they come out with a new design that will keep their slot in their product line.

Lagoon shows this competition the best with their Lagoon 380, 39, 400 and 421. All four of these Catamarans are just inches apart in length.

Assuming you mean Lagoon then the answer is no. They replaced the 440 with the 450 recently.
