Could a swim platform like is on the 560 be put on a 500

I wonder if the dinghy lift and swim platform on the 560 could be installed
on a 500 model. I sure would like to have that feature.

Re: Could a swim platform like is on the 560 be put on a 500

I am sure they can. I checked into it for the 450. The company that adds.them to the 560 told me they could do it but it would be a lighter built platform ando would not be able to carry as heavy of a dingy. If memory is good, I think the total payload was only rated for about 250 lbs.

The 500 would likely be able to have something a little beefier, allowing more payload.

I.found out that these are an expensive addition. The prices I found were about 35k.

I found the company by googling the hydraulic lift on the 560.

Hope this helps.

I want one too!! I saw a 560 in St. Maarten several years ago and the captain blasted around the boat, two second maneuver, and up he and the boat came. It was really impressive.

Having said that, the span between my hulls would only accomodate a 12 or 13 foot rib and if I was going to such an expense, it would be for a 15' rib with a jockey seat. What I've been thinking is to put a solid platform on the back like a Voyage or St. Francis and use a deck crane. They don't weigh much, cost less then the raising platform, and would allow the bigger rib.
