421: Buying a Lagoon 421

Looking for anyone who has bought or about to buy a Lagoon 421. We are nearing the end of our two year plan and hope to be in the market for one later this year/ early next year. We have looked online at comparable FP's, Leopards and others but have found the 421's to have the best combination of useable space, comfort, luxury, equipment levels/options and layout (for us). We have yet to sail on board one but aim to do that sometime this year. Are there any 421 owners out there who might let us know what to look out for and any good or bad points regarding ownership of a 421? We aim to take the larger sail package and the 55hp engines just because more is better.

I have ordered a L 421, supposed to pick it up Dedc. 11, 2014. Just wondering if you indeed did buy one, and what your thoughts about it are so far?

Hi there Can-Vic. Our plan has had it's first hiccup, the house hasn't sold as quickly as we expected So it looks like you may have your Lagoon before we do! Very exciting for you and let us know how you like it. Cheers Cil

You might want to Google La Mischief. Steve Tull is Australian and recently bought a 421. In the Med somewhere now. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk 421s.
