Crew Wanted: Would you like to be Real Crew on a Real Tallship?

The brig Pilgrim of Dana Point is looking for Real Crew to maintain and sail her! This is not a live-aboard position, and it is volunteer-only. You will need to live nearby, and consistently attend our Saturday work and training days.

We have a pair of big, beautiful Tallships that need Real Crew to do the Real Work -- the rigging, bosunry, carpentry, sailmaking, painting, mechanical, and all the other jobs it takes to keep these historic ships sailing.

We have about a month of Real Sailing scheduled for this summer aboard Pilgrim, and we need dependable, healthy, enthusiastic, trainable volunteers to join our crew.

We muster in "The Barn" at the Ocean Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Dr. Dana Point, CA, at 9:00 A.M. sharp on Saturdays. Wear your work clothes and closed-toed shoes. No slackers, lollygaggers, or one-day lookie-loos, please. We Really work, we Really sail, and we Really have a great time!

Note that Saturdays are crew-only days. The public is welcomed to come visit us on most any Sunday.
