Windstrutter needs crew to Panama and beyond

Hi ,we're looking for experienced and or useful crew.We are currently moored in Puerto Chiapas and Captain Tony will return for fitting out and launching at the beginning of Janauary. We really do need able bodied crew for any of the legs towards the Med from Mexico. please don't apply unless you have experience and are able to do watches and muck in. We also need help preparing to launch . Windstrutter is 54' ferro-cement cutter ketch and we have sailed her from San Diego, throughout the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Mexico, over the last six years. Awaiting your response.

We did that run a while back. If you can make it that far, you can make it to Panama. Really it's only a couple of runs. We liked Puesta Del Sol as a stopping and fuel place. Then Bahia Santa Elena saved us from weather. Manuel Antonio park was touristy but neat. Golfito was a great easy stop. Then really you are striking distance to Panama City. The Anchorage is so so there and we liked the Balboa Yacht Club better despite its cost when prepping for the canal. You can make this run if you have come from SD. Good Luck!

Re: Windstrutter needs crew to Panama and beyond

Just wondering where you are in your travels and if you still need crew. I am about 5 years into sailing (have raced and now am a boat owner myself) and I will have some free time in early January to go south...so I writing you!

Would love to meet more sailor friends and get more water time!

Best,

Michele
