Who Wants to Cruise the Bahamas ?

I have a Lagoon 410, a 40 foot sail catamaran, and I am in the Exumas right now. I am single handing and thought it would be more fun sharing this experience with someone else.

I plan on continuing down the Exumas, down the Ragged Islands, down and up the out islands, and then to Andros and the Berrys. If there is time we would finish in Abacos, but I donít think that will happen, before heading back to the US.

The number one thing I am looking for is someone who will enjoy their time in this wonderful country. I am a sailing instructor so experience is not an issue.

You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the boat and your share of expenses.

If you are interested in cruising around the Bahamas through May or June then e-mail me at shane@svguidinglight.com.

Shane

Shane,
I sent you e-mail and after I did I found more information about your story. I must say you really know how to live the dream. Funny, I bought the Catalina 25 also.

The Colorado Connection

Good Morning Shane from Sunny Denver Colorado, I too took my sailing courses with Mr. Cook at the Victoria Sailing school and would love to connect with you for this great opportunity. This past summer I crewed a 50 footer from Hawaii to Vancouver over 21 days and had a blast. Currently spending my time in CO with plans to fly to Costa Rica and back to Miami to see the Marley's in Concert on the 12th of March. All expense and backstage passes to the concert, care of a close friend of the Marley's family, If ya care to join me. Maybe make some connection to stay with them along our journey. About me, I'm easy going semi retire Mr. fix it, I live life large and enjoy every minute. I hope we can connect and enjoy the Bahamas together. Hope to hear from you soon. John

Re: Who Wants to Cruise the Bahamas ?

Hi Shane
Sounds just about perfect. I am considering a Lagoon 41, and want to get to know the Bahamas better, before my big cruise.

I have done quite a bit of blue water, but mostly and only captained bare boat motor boats (35-55). Been on several bare boat sailing trips, but not captained, still only have the BKS cert..but sounds like thats no issue.

I would enjoy to join for a while in late May and June, if possible.

I am a professional, educated striaght forward type of guy. Non-smoker, social drinker, clean, can pay my way...etc....etc..

I will email you to see if this makes sense for either of us.

Geoff
