West Coast USA Traveler

F, fit 59 yr old with (mostly) day racing experience. Some Canadian and San Juan cruising. Bare boat certification 6/2011, MOB certified too! Retired and looking for bluewater experience. A sailing companion would be the icing on the cake. Prefer being on the water vrs land.
Would like to crew heading N, S or W late September/early October. I don't:
smoke/drink/drug and prefer companion/s either occasional or non smoking/drinking....no drugs!
References both ways.

Re: West Coast USA Traveler

OK folks, I'll be crew and yet if I find my captain I'll be done flying solo. I'm racing trim with strong arms and back yet a soft heart and a happy soul. Note, "my" captain won't be married/separated from another lady, he will need to be free and well into early or mid retirement, lol!
As crew, I'll hold to my job without a sidelong glance.

Just kidding ;-)
I am happily married so I do not qualify but you sound like a lady that knows how to have fun......

Well Zeehag is looking for a male partner too ( probably part time because of her boat cat ( furry creature )

Re: West Coast USA Traveler

It boggles my mind that neither of you interesting ladies with their own boat willing to cruise has found a male companion.
I already have a boat and a wife so I'm out, but come on, you boatless male dreamers, commit!

Re: West Coast USA Traveler

Please folks, lets keep in mind that I Don't have a boat, I want to crew! Prefer a male companion and if it is something .... with chemistry, great! If not, this isn't a singles site...blue water experience is what I'm looking for.
I've seen young women getting 450 responses, and I'm well seasoned in life. Now want to add blue water sailing. That's what this is all about. Shuck and grin, good humor, yet I do have a goal in mind!
The old gray mare!

Re: West Coast USA Traveler

Sence your on Camino Island in the Salish Sea you should check out the PNWsailors.com ( Pacific North West Sailors ) site they just held the 10th Lattitudes and Attitudes Magizine crusers party at Friday harbor with over 100 boats. They have need for crewing for local sailboat races to get your practice.
