Week run Phuket to Langhawi and back September

Boat should be finished rebuild and plan to leave first week of September for a leisurely cruise to Langhawi and back, stopping for a bit of diving, kayaking or any other exploration that looks like a bit of fun.

Minimal experience required, cleaning and cooking skills essential as well as basic understanding of sailing.

Get yourself there and back, I pay for trip.

Re: Week run Phuket to Langhawi and back September

Hello. I'm potentially interested in joining you. My first experience sailing was actually the same trip you're doing and there's some beautiful spots in between Phuket and langkawi. I did this trip about 5 years ago and more recently hitched a ride from Vancouver to San Fran. Both times I proved myself to be a hard worker, fast learner and obviously I love to sail - I'm also a pretty good cook

To tell you a bit about myself: I'm a 33 year old Canadian male and have done a lot of travelling when I'm not back in Canada working. Currently looking at buying my own boat but that might be a few years away so I'm trying to get all the experience I can before then. I could be in Thailand the first week of September (I used to live in Chang Mai) so if you're interested I'd love to try to meet up.

Wolfgang

Re: Week run Phuket to Langhawi and back September

Hi, how long will it take to do the Phuket/Langhawi run. I am kind of interested. I am still a very novice sailor and have never done a trip like this but I want to gain sea time. Let me know how long is this trip.

Re: Week run Phuket to Langhawi and back September

If for some reason you are delayed I would love to go in October. I'm an experienced sailor with a 500 ton captains license, PADI Dive Master, EMT. I'm somewhat familiar with the area having sailed the Andaman Sea a few years ago. I love to cook and am good at catching fish, rod and reel or free diving. I can maintain marine engines and troubleshoot electrical systems. Send me a PM if October works for you. Aloha Andrew
