Are you only looking for a female? Wasn't sure what you meant by blonde?

Re: Washington to Alaska by end of July

Is the three weeks prior required to get the blonde or the boat 'ship shape'?

Yes, are you the 5'6 blond or are you looking for a 5'6" blond.

Where in Alaska is your destination?

Re: Washington to Alaska by end of July

If I read it correctly. The OP is looking for a 5'6" blonde (male or female) to help him to get the boat ready for a period of three months and then sail to Alaska. He will pay for the diesel and food. When the boat gets to Alaska, the blonde may find a job in Alaska.

Erm, I'm not looking for a man, but I've always wanted to go to Alaska!
Couldn't stay and work there, however. Will gladly fly to Washington, sail to Alaska, and fly back home to FL if the boat part of the trip is free.

Do you have no sailing experience? Because that might not be a good idea, to go without an experienced captain/crew.

Re: Washington to Alaska by end of July

I have held a 100 gte master inland and Abel seaman I have made the trip more times than I can count I have also sailed that being said caution is allways advised with any boating but some people scare themselves right out of a great adventure

Re: Washington to Alaska by end of July

Well, I am not 5'6" or blond but I do have about 8,900nm offshore sailing experience over 146 days. the most recent being a delivery from La Paz Mexico to Brunswick, GA in April-June.
I have experience with Nav software, AIS, watermakers, refers, gennys Bat Chargers and other ship systems too.
I am available in your time frame and flexible as to length of trip.
If you think I might be a possible candidate you can contact me directly through my email on my profile.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks David
