Two day hop from Fernandina Beach to Stuart, Florida

Hello forum, I have recently anchored in Fernandina Beach and my regular crew had to run back home for some previous engagements. I'd like to continue my trip south with a two day hop down the east coast of Florida from Fernandina Beach to Stuart, FL. This will be a coastal cruise, nothing crazy or intense, and we would probably leave next Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on weather.

The boat is an Allied Seawind, a rock solid 30' ketch with a great reputation for global travel. Please see my experience as a sailor in my profile.

I would prefer some experience, but it is not necessary, just an eagerness to learn and good work ethic. That being said, I could provide some sort of monetary compensation for someone with the right experience who has been offshore before.

As far as future plans, which anyone can come along with, I'll be spending the Thanksgiving holiday in Stuart and then making my way to the west coast of FL via the Okeechobee waterway. I'll then head down to the Keys and eventually over to the Bahamas.

Please send me a message if you are interested, thanks!

I would be extremely interested since I live in Jacksonville and have been hoping to build some experience. Unfortunately I travel very heavily this time of year so I wouldn't be available for that first leg. However I will be going down to Sarasota the 5th to the 10th of December. Maybe I could do another leg. I am available the 1st to the 4 th and 11th to the 22nd of December.

I have been a powerboater since I was a little kid. I also recently took a class to get certified to charter up to a 35ft sailboat. I am very easy going and consider myself a good cook (other people do agree on both points lol). I have done long backpacking and kayaking trips and enjoy living simply. I always thought a boat would be pretty cozy in comparison. I hope we could work something out. Thanks.
