Re: Tropical Cruising Australia

Thank you for your offer. Unfortunately by July I should be well down the remote Western Australian Coast.
Good luck with your Crew search, will be heaps of yachts cruising up the QLD coast at that time of year to join.
Have best ever holiday, it is a nice part of the world.
regards David

Re: Tropical Cruising Australia

David,

The trip sounds amazing. I would be interested in discussing more with you. Around that time I will be taking a break from my current job of running 4x4 adventure tours on Fraser Island and looking to get back on the seas. In 2012 I sailed from the Canary Islands all the way to Sydney via the Panama Canal and am itching to get back on the ocean. Also my parents are in Darwin so would be a nice way to visit sailing into the harbour for a catch up. You can get me on troywalton66 at yahoo dot com dot au or just PM me.

Cheers

Troy

I may be interested and should actually have everything wrapped up here by then and should be able to hit the high seas. Please PM me if you would be interested in taking someone aboard and teaching them the ropes.

Re: Tropical Cruising Australia

Hi,

I'd be interested in joining your trip around the top end. I'm a 28 yo environmental engineer,I've been working on an oil and gas project out in western qld for the last 3 years and my contract is coming to in march so I am looking at doing an extended period of travel and would love to kick off with some sailing.

I don't have a huge amount of sailing experience but have recently done a competent crew course and helped sailed a mono hull from mooloolaba down to Brisbane - I'm a practical hands on person who loves the ocean and am keen to learn.
I can be contacted at:
samworrall (at) gmai (dot) com or via PM
