Trish, best wishes on the voyage, and I do sincerely mean that.

Never have and probably never will.
Trish has more guts than me! And it has nothing to do with time of year.

I would love to sail the Med and Agean one year though, Keep thinking about shipping within a ship if I decide to ever do it. Or at least Bermuda, Azores, Canaries and so on.

I wouldn't take the chance, risk of to many storms, but many have made it safely. To get three weeks of weather is hard.. Don't rush life...
I'm just looking to go out in a blaze of ignominy...

Ah ha - How do you get spot to report on the forum? I'm doing transatlantic next week and it might be interesting? Tony

Just post the link to your spot page and when people click on it they can see your route.

I realise this is "thread drift" but thanks, Mike for the info. However, being utterly blonde when it comes to internet and computer-ology, do you mean post it in a new thread on the forum? And just to compound matters - I'm not exactly certain how to tell what my spot page is called....if you see what I mean?? T (Unless you think this info may be useful to others, perhaps a pm might be more appropriate)

cheers, T

Re: Trans Atlantic - June/ July 2013

You need to log into the SPOT web page and setup your route page. If you have not read the help pages there, I very much recommend it.

Did your create an account on the SPOT web site?
