Trans-Atlantic Delivery

We need crew with either a US B1/2 visa or US passport to assist with the delivery of a new Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 catamaran. La Rochelle - Annapolis. Departure date circa July 15th. Fast, comfortable boat, own cabin. Expenses negotiable.

Re: Trans-Atlantic delivery

Arrghhh, I would take this in a heart beat. Too bad I have already committed this year TransPac race from LA to Hawaii departing July 8. I am with the old school. Once committed, it is final

If somehow you are delaying your trip, please let me know.

Fair Winds and Good luck

Re: Trans-Atlantic delivery

Hi,

I am very keen to join your crew. I am at university and have the day skipper qualification. How long do you estimate it would take? I would need to get a visa before leaving but there is nothing that should prevent this.

Hope to hear from you soon .

La Rochelle to Annapolis? I would offer assistance if was after hurricane season. If I were owner I would hold out till winter, seems unneeded risk with new boat. Just my two cents.

That's why they are delivery capt they just don't give a damn its all about the money to them, and they would be the first into the life raft wtshtf I'm not saying anything about the poster, I don't know him, but most are like this.
I do need to say if the boat can make 12 knots he should be ok this time of year.

Not saying it isn't possible. But what is rush? Once committed leaves little play to unpredictable weather patterns. Heck, this whole week has been tornado warnings in Mid Atlantic region and that is even before the hurricanes have started kicking up the coast. Perhaps they did not hear of Sandy in La Rochelle.

yes the systems rolling of the east coast can be very hairy, but I'm sure that cat can ride them out ok, but not a water spout those things scare the crap out of me,but so far I have always out run them.

Stay in MED until autumn. Have a nice time, check and complete the boat.
The best advice you can get.
