Hello Luciana! Buy "Frommer's Guide to the Caribbean"; around $20 USD. It has a chapter on Sint Maarten/St. Martin that includes all sorts of accommodations and prices. It also covers travel activities and a restaurant guide. I have used Frommer's guides throughout the world, and have never been disappointed with their suggestions. (Sint Maarten/St Martin is not a cheap island to live in, but you can find food bargains where the locals hang out. Just do your business during morning early hours.)
