I am looking for an experienced Skipper to take a 47 foot sailboat from lake Michigan to Tampa FL in early May.

Gonna take more than a week of sailing for that one. Sorry no can do. I did the great loop about 40 yrs ago - took six weeks to Fla alone.

Trucking her is your best bet in your case. If you are lucky you may be able to a catch an empty truck bed to the south. Starting make some calls.
