Sea trials for circumnavigation

reply to timeforsunandsea at gmail.com
Gulfstar 50 MK II, 3 cabin ketch, extensively rebuilt over the last 4 years leaving Virginia for charity work in Haiti, then holidays in Jamaica, Cuba, back to Virginia to finish refit. This is to complete sea trials to test all systems recently new or rebuilt. Leaving Nov 2014 on world cruise. Wanting to collect a pool of crew who are available for months at a time over the next 5 years. Vessel will be circumnavigating the Earth to remote locations to complete documentaries and other projects. Scuba diving a main emphasis. Experience not the first requirement as compatibility is. Male and female crew wanted. Allot of money has been invested in this so far so please do not send short bios that tell nothing. Send photos, your background, your ideas, timelines you have available etc. No this is not about dating, Captain is not looking for a mate. This is about some serious people wanting to do some serious sailing to beautiful remote corners of the planet and want everyone on board enjoying it. Yes crews will be coming and going. Some professionals will be flying in for a few weeks. Others might be on board for years. Several vessels could be involved at different times too. So send an email to the address at the very beginning of this thread and I will respond. If you are serious then make a serious attempt to convince us. Many people are responding. Thank you.

Re: Sea trials for circumnavigation

Do you have a web page with a short story or bio? Some fax about the captain would make it easier for a potential crew to figure out the compatibility thing from their point. That would save you some time too.
