Sea of Cortez

Looking for anyone interested in cruising the Sea of Cortez on a well equipped 50ft motoryacht. Check my blog page for more boat info. Mvdarlin.WordPress.com. This is my personal yacht, not a charter vessel.

Re: Sea of Cortez

Hi Korbey,

I read your post on Cruisers Forum and am very interested in cruising with you. Before I moved to Hawaii (grew up in San Diego) I used to love going to Baja, however in recent years I felt that it was to dangerous. That being said I'm ready to visit again.

About me I'm a Honolulu firefighter stationed on the Honolulu fireboat MokuAhi 110' and currently work as pilot/engineer. I have done several trans pacific crossing and am an able fisherman and cook. I also hold a USCG 500 ton license, E.M.T. and am a PADI Dive Master. I'm looking to cruise for 4-6 weeks.

I have been telling guy/girl friends about baja and several want to go. Please let me know if you are looking for one crew-member or several.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

aloha,

Andrew

Andrew:

For whatever it's worth, the Sea of Cortez is pretty safe. The biggest concerns I had (even with my wife and two small children) was the heat and bugs.

Re: Sea of Cortez

I have room for 3 crew, boat is well equipped. Check my blog page for photos. I am looking for a shared expense arrangement. Boat is very economical. I am uncommitted from March to May, but the schedule will fill soon. What do you have in mind? You can PM me directly. Blog is mvdarlin.WordPress.com

Re: Sea of Cortez

Hi Korbey,

I'm not sure if yahoo mail is getting through. The new format is killing me!

Merry and I would like to cruise with you for three weeks in May if you still have room.

aloha,

Andrew
