Crew Available: San Diego to Hawaii wanting to learn

I will be completely honest, I have never served on a crew to get anywhere but a friend was telling me about it and it sounds very interesting. If anyone has room on their boat and is going to Hawaii leaving from San Diego please consider bringing me along. I teach in the DC area but will be out in the San Diego early August. I am a hard worker and a fast learner.
