SAILOR/DIESEL MECHANIC/HARD WORKING/MACGYVER KINDA GUY/IN PUERTO RICO

Greetings to all
Hi!
I am a 41 year old man living in Puerto Rico looking to get back in to the maritime world. When I was 20ish, I was really into sailing. I delivered an amazing Maxi Racer (Ondine Romantina) from Antigua to the Virgin Islands and then to Antibbes France via the Azores. I have also delivered a sail boat from St. Petersburg, FL to Mobile, Alabama. I've sailed from St. Petersburg, FL to the San Blas islands off Panama and back to St. Petersburg, FL as well. I also crewed a motor yacht from the Bahamas to Miami for delivery, cooked on a sail boat sailing around west Florida (had THE cheeseburger in paradise) and a few leisure sails here and there.

I am looking for WINTER CARRIBEAN WORK. From fixing her up in the dry dock to rebuilding her sail systems. engine overhaul to sail repair, head rebuild to engine rebuild. The list goes on and on. Of course, I'd rather be sailing so hit me up for that as well. I think I am at the 14,000 nautical mile mark. I also do fine dining serving, mixology(very important) and I am an OK cook. Five Star to cruiser family, give me a chance and send me an e mail.

I enrolled in a diesel mechanics course last year and recently graduated.

I have also served honorably as a medic in the US Army. This is always a plus.

I have repaired a few boat bottoms during my days and I know a whole lot about construction, carpentry, fiberglass, engines, transmissions, mechanical systems and electrical systems.

I was in the night club business for 17 years and I know how to have fun.

I am bilingual in Spanish.

I find myself to be very funny. My friends think so as well.

I have no children and have never been married.

Please contact me with any questions or references.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

J. Gray
Currently bartending 20 feet from the ocean I should be sailing on.
