I'd venture that will be a fascinating trip, with that rich
history of the
Great Lakes. Of course, don't miss the
shipwreck museum at Whitefish Bay (my recollection is that's where it is). Some remarkable wrecks will be under your
keel, a few of which I've been down to (dry suit
diving, the water's freezing).
So I'd love to step aboard for a segment of your trip, but I'm not free until later in summer. My July is a mess, but later in August I would be keen to hear where you were and where you expected to be a few days after that, and if you had room for one more at that point.
I'm traveling around the country this summer, but if it made sense, I'd make a point to be at some particular
dock at a convenient time, and be a volunteer crew for that part of the trip where I was onboard. And there seems little point to try to be more specific than that until that "moment is upon us", as they say.
Best Regards
