Sail or Cruise Caribbean or Warmer North America

I would love to join a sailor who could appreciate some company and use a little help. I don't have a lot of experience, but have the desire to learn as I someday want to own a sailboat.
My current interest is anywhere in the Caribbean, Central America or the warmer parts of North America. A voyage back to the US Mainland from the Caribbean would be awesome as well.
I am a very fit farmer, easy-going, laid-back and can get along with most. I do not drink or smoke. I have money to get to your boat and would be happy to buy the food and drink we need. I would like to experience sail setting and navigating. I can be available now for about a week or after June.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Re: Sail or Cruise Caribbean or Warmer North America

Hello Mdfarmer.

I am taking my Morgan 41 from Atlantic City NJ to Miami Florida and can use some help since my wife cannot go this time.
The trip can take anywhere from 15 to 30 days since I am not in the hurry and things can and will happen!

Let me know if interested

thank you

I appreciate the offer and have an interest.
When do you plan to leave? Any chance I could join for a portion of the voyage?
I will soon be deep into the spring planting at our farm. There is a chance I would have more time after that work is finished.

I'm going to the Bahamas end of April. Interested? You can fly to Miami and take the ferry to Bimini. Stay for a week or so.

Re: Sail or Cruise Caribbean or Warmer North America

I would love if sailing could be that predictable! We hope something and it is always to be adjusted! I was leaving April first but now may be May first since the wind is out of control here right now! Will be an everyday check until I go next day just like that... I still have 3 or 4 things I want to do, fix or adjust before leaving here though...
So, I am not sure when I am leaving. will be some time after the 15th any day
