Sail Indonesia Rally 2013 - Position wanted

Hi,

My name is Agustín, I’m 29 years old and I’m from Argentina, although I have the Italian citizenship as well.

I’m interested in doing the Sail Indonesia Rally 2013. I am planning to be in Darwin by late-June to start looking for a boat to get crew on. I took a course back in Argentina and now I'm living in Melbourne and I'm sailing and racing
on a 45-foot yacht vessel at the Sandringham Yacht Club every week.

I'm looking to improve my sailing skills and I'm not interested in just being a passanger. I have some kitchen experience since I'm working as a kitchen hand in a restaurant in Melbourne. I'm responsible and reliable as well (I was doing house sitting for six weeks) and hard working (I was working in construction and landscaping in Melbourne as well).

I'm a journalist and an adventurer and I can offer good companion and nice chats as well. I speak fluent Spanish, Italian and English. Just a little bit of Portuguese.

References upon to request

Kind regards

Agustín

Re: Sail Indonesia Rally 2013 - Position wanted

Please keep in mind that Indonesia is quite firm on their cruising permit (CAIT).

I expect that it would be very difficult to fly to Darwin and to get on a yacht at such short notice.

From my perspective it is the boats leaving Cairns and points south for Indonesia that will need crew. Aiming for 2014 may be more practical.

Please have a read of the CAIT info here.

Yes, I've been noticed of that but anyway I've already made up my mind to move out up to Darwin so I'll try to do my best to get a spot on a boat. Thanks for the reply.
