Crew Available: Rome (Gaeta) to Cape Town or Durbin or even Namibia?

Hello, I am new to the forum. I am a single male that has been bicycling around Europe on a fully loaded mountain bike. I am looking to get home from where I am right now which is near Rome (I can meet anywhere in Italy..)

A bit about me..

I am a single 38 year old male, 193 cm, physically fit and easy going. I have two years of sailing experience on smaller craft (60ft average)with basic navigation. I have worked with diesel engines large and small (no certifications and I am not an expert, but I can repair most basic things)I am a Padi Scuba Instructor, a water survival expert, and have been a basic paramedic. I have a background in IT in GPS navigation and advanced topography. I can manually chart pretty well but want to learn more about navigation by traditional methods.

I like to cook, tell stories, work hard, and enjoy the open water. I am trustworthy and I operate with common sense and enthusiasm. I have been told that I am a fun person to be around, and that I am a hard worker.

I would like to crew on any craft with someone or a crew that is trustworthy, hardworking, and fun to be around. I hope to get as close to Cape Town as possible sometime by January 2013. I can work for my passage or I can pay a reasonable amount.
