River Trip: Pittsburgh to the Gulf April/May, 2014

Moving my Roberts 53 from Pittsburgh PA to the Gulf of Mexico in April/May. approximately 1650 river miles down the Ohio River, Up the Tennessee River, across the TennTom Waterway and down the Tombigbee River into Mobile AL bound for Pensacola FL The entire trip should take about three weeks but I would welcome help with even a portion of it. The trip can be divided into three more or less equal 1 week sections. Pittsburgh PA to Cincinnati OH, Cincinnati to Paducah KY, Paducah to Mobile AL. It should be a pretty comfortable and leisurely cruise. I mostly could use help with tending lines in the many locks. Come on along and watch spring break out over Kentucky. It's a big comfortable yacht and some beautiful scenery. Happy to answer any questions.

Keep me posted on your journey. We may be able to meet up as you make it through Chattanooga. Who knows, might be able to join you for a stretch.

Thanks for your interest.

I'll be leaving Pittsburgh around April 15. As I mentioned, you could join up along the way if your interested. For example, in Cincinnati about a week later etc.

Best regards,

Rob

Nice to hear you're interested.

If you think you might like to make the trip, or a portion of it I'd like to hear more about that and get to know you a bit. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself. You could send a private message if you'd rather. I think you can click on my user name and choose private message.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Rob,

I didn't read your post well. Your float plan doesn't bring you through Chattanooga unless you decide to REALLY move "up the Tennessee River."
If you make the detour, let me know.

Hi, that sounds like a wonderful trip. I am ocean going by experience over 100,000 miles but always wanted to cruise a few rivers. Do you still have openings? If so, what would be the dates. I am female 52 years
