Crew Wanted: Post hurricane season cruise FL to Bahamas

Hi,

My name is Joe I am taking my Tartan 37 to the Bahamas for 5-6 months beginning early December. My only mates are my two Yorkie pups and I mostly single hand sail. I will be arriving in FL late October to do many upgrades on the boat up in Placida. Solar, possible water maker, alternator, THE LIST, etc. The Tartan is very spirited and responsive and a blast to sail.

I am just throwing a hook out to see if one or two people are interested in joining me for parts of the adventure. Shared expenses, non paid sailing on OPB. I am 44, fit and active and the sailing schedule will be weather and wind dependent-no agenda. I plan to learn to fish and just enjoy the time on the ocean and make some new friends along the way. I will have scuba gear onboard and we will do a lot of diving.

Hi Joe,

That might fit for me. I'm a fit 65 yr old with more than 40 yrs of sailing/boating experience including about 3000 miles of offshore work. I've owned more than a dozen boats over the years and I'm still actively racing on wavelength 24's. Hope to hear from you
