Palau to Philippines

Hey hey

Looking for up to three crew to sail to The Philippines from Palau in mid October 2013 (or there abouts). Must be able to cover own costs.

I motored % of the way in dead calms. Keep an eye on JTWC: http://www.usno.navy.mil/JTWC/ that time of year.

That's right potential crew. It'll either be less than 10 knots or over 150 knots.

have you been mugged by any tomatoes lately

try posting on lonely planet,in the thorn tree section,we got a few crew off there when we went thru the philipines,seems to be a popular backpacker msg forum for south east asia.

Fly into Palau fly out of Phillipines Probably cost about four Grand in air fares etc and then you find out the skipper is ??? and the Boat??? and the crew???

You want (clewless) happy go lucky backpackers not skilled sailors perhaps.

I have heard you can do a long time drifting without wind around there, hope you have lots of diesel???

Palau could be awesome... or are we(?) just helping you deliver your boat to the Philippines and then,,, see you later.

Are you in Palau now? Check with Dermot at Sam's there may be some locals that could go on the trip.

no sorry ,just yanking your chain,would love to come along though as "salad girl".....allergic to dishes.

and for anybodies interest,tony and i have sailed together about 5500 miles over the last 10 years.

great guy, resourceful and very competent sailor.

i would sail anywhere with him,and have total competence in his abilities, he has a great boat,set up for comfortable cruising.

I'm a young Israeli sailor looking for a position as crew or skipper with you. i am a very experienced sailor that have sailed in all around the world. I am young and very hardworking ,positive and fun on any vessel .I share A big passion with the ocean ,and everything in it. i have all different types of skills (surf and kite-boarding instructor, fishing/ spearfishing and diving )for living ,working and having fun on board any vessel. I am in Israel at the moment. I can be where you want since beginning of November.
