Crew needed for offshore pasage from Wanchese North Carolina to Ft Lauderdale Florida. First week of November, departure on 4th or 5th. Trip will take 5-7 days. Boat's owner will be along for the trip and will provide for all expenses during passage. Two crew needed (male or female), preferably with offshore experience, watchkeeping, etc. 44 foot cutter rigged sloop.boat in good condition no issues, well maintained. Hi, My wife and I will be near your area about the time you are leaving. I have off shore experience making the passage from Norfolk to the Virgin Islands. My wife doesn't have any try crewing experience, but she is a great cook who can take an empty pantry and make a feast from near nothing. She is 50 and I am 57, CPA and Architect. I've sailed all my life and owned many different sail boats from a Sunfish, Hobie 16, J24, C&C29, C&C30, C&C33 and most recently a Searay Sundancer 40 motor boat(sorrry about that stink pot). We are from Austin Texas, but are on our pay to Pittsburgh to visit my daughter and grandson there, before going to stay at a friends vacation house on the west coast of Florida.
