Norfolk to Charleston (and Florida)

Am planning to leave Norfolk around the end of this week (9th Nov) dependent upon forecasts and am looking for one or two additional crew to assist with the passage. We are a sailing family and the additional hands would be most welcome as we are planning a 3 day/night trip. The boat is a 60ft sloop. Require person(s) able to stand watch on their own that have experience in sailing vesesels. I will cover return expenses from the final destination.

We have the same route and timing, 55 ft blue hulled, black mast Tayana. Waiting in Onancock for the nor' easter to go through. Call on VHF if you see us visually or on AIS.

I'm interested, I have more than 40 yrs sailing experience with more than 3500 miles offshore. I'm quite fit, can do 130 pushups without breaking a sweat. let me know I can provide more particulars.

Many thanks for the responses and offers of help. We believe we have found a likely crew member.

Re: Norfolk to Charleston (and Florida)

I live in Richmond, VA....no sailing experience but trying to learn. Once I get some, let me know when you do this again, I can be to Norfolk in an hour and fifteen. Be Safe!
