pirate New to Sailing - Ready for Any Opportunity

Thank you for your consideration. My name is Brian I am a 48 yo male in excellent health. I have no sailing experience but thousands of hours on powerboats. I sold my restaurant and ready to hit the high seas. I am a fabulous cook, fisherman and scuba diver. I will pay my way and am a quick learner. I do not smoke or do drugs. I am very easy going and handle stressful situations with a calm and collected demeanor. I have no ties and can be ready in 24- 48 hours! Thanks,Brian

Would you be interested in sailing the East coast of Australia? From some time in April 2011 for an extended time on a 45 Samson ferro Ketch built in 1980 approx. with an owner aged 65 of limited experence and a 69yo experienced inshore sailor. Both fit and well.
More details available upon an expression of interest. Share costs (food, berthing, fuel etc.) Prestently lying near Sydney and looking to sail north to Barrier Reef and further.

going to the Virgin Islands

Hey there,

I'm heading to the virgin islands soon. But I'm a bit leary of taking someone I don't know. We could do a test sail from St. Augustine, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas? I'm picking up my kids in Nassau for a vacation for two weeks and then sailing from Nassau to the Virgin Islands after that.

I've got a 40'ketch, just been doing a refit for the past few months, so she should be in good shape. I've been a charter captain in the Mediterranean and the US and Bahamas, with a captain's license (for what they are worth). Six years living and cruising on my boat Krasna.

Well I'll be leaving around the first of March (give or take a day or two.) Sailing to Nassau by the 14th. Would you be willing to share expenses?
