Mooloolaba- North of Brisbane

I have just bought a 34ft yacht and its moored in Mooloolaba north of Brisbane.
Is there anyone local that wants to come sailing?
I have 9 days off every 3 weeks and theyre spent on the boat.
So if you are up for a potter out to sea and back for the day or over night or to Fiji or wherever, youre more than welcome to drop me a line and we could go from there.
I have everything we need.

Re: Mooloolaba- North of Brisbane

Hi Nauticalnomad,

Last year I sailed from the UK back to Australia and it has now been a year since I have set foot on a sailing boat. Would love to dust off the cobwebs and get out in the breeze. So tantalising seeing the yachts sail past my place here at Noosa so Mooloolaba is just down the road. I work odd shifts too running 3 day 4x4 tours to Fraser Island then I get a few days off in between. Let me know if you are still looking for someone to sail with. troywalton66 at yahoo dot com dot au

Cheers

Troy

I think the opening poster is "taking the piss out of us."

Qld to Fiji is 1,700 miles so you won't be "overnighting" there.

Let me google that for you

Not necessarily, he seems to be suggesting that a bit of coastal around Moo'ba could lead to further afield. However, where he is "extracting the urine" is in not replying to responses(not mine anyway)

Re: Mooloolaba- North of Brisbane

Hi there [ I live in Noosa, work 3 on 1 off and have been sailing quite regularly over the last couple of years on a friend's 48' cat moored at Mooloolaba. I plan to buy a monohull though so would enjoy some sailing with you if our rosters coincide. Maybe you would like to come out with us also.

Cheers

Michael

You may have missed the word "OR" between "over night" and "to Fiji"
.

Re: Mooloolaba- North of Brisbane

Hi

I would be keen to go on a trip for around 10 days. I live in Sydney and would be available to sail for up to a couple weeks and can come fly out to meet you near the end of March. I'm keen to sail Fiji or any "nearby" Islands.

I've raced Adams 10s in Middle Harbour the past three years. I've rented numerous yachts in Sydney and sailed Greece and Sicily on 34 and 46ft yachts with only my ex-partner and I.

I'm an easy going 36yo, funny (if I do say so myself) professional who's highly motivated to get more miles under my belt. I'm also a pretty solid chef

Please feel free to call me to discuss if it sound like I'd be a good match for the journey. Cheers! Cathy:+61 411377186

Hi, My husband and I live on the Sunshine Coast. Have lived here all our lives and have always had a boat of some description. We plan on buying our own live aboard catamaran boat in the near future and would love some extra sea time. Maybe we could come down and meet you at your boat one day? Cheers, Nic & Paul.

Re: Mooloolaba- North of Brisbane

Hey there,
I'm just down in Brissie and would be keen to do some sailing. I have my skippers liscence and open water scuba ticket if that helps. Can cook a few dishes too. I'm pretty much a newbie to cruising but I've done a bit of sailing in England, Turkey and Canada (dinghies, lazers, wafarers etc). I want to buy my own yacht but need to learn more before I take the plunge. Hope to hear from you. My ph is 0488450815 and my email is kahlil27 at hotmail dot com. Thanks, Steve
