Mexico to Australia February 2015

Looking for crew interested in voyaging from Puerto Vallarta to Australia leaving mid to end February 2015. Will follow the Puddle Jump route most likely. 2006 Catamaran 40 foot, ocean going with all mod cons, liferaft, safety etc. Skipper has over 25000 nautical miles under his keel in Cats and we are going to sail safe not rush. Have done the route 20 years ago and sped staright though, this time we will take a more leisurely trip. Will hopefully stop over at places of interest and take is easy. Looking for max 3 crew to assist in all areas and be willing to pay expenses of food and own fees etc if required on visits. Male or female, fit and active with a GSOH and able to pay their way. I am 52, fit and active, and am the owner skipper of the vessel. have travelled the planet and going around again, fun and open minded. If interested email me with your details and info, - Pete - xoceans at gee male dot com

Re: Mexico to Australia February 2015

Hello Peter, I am Leslie. I live on Kauai and have a dream to cruise. My vision board is plastered with sailboats-catamarans! I am currently trying to sell my house here and swore I wouldn't make any travel plans until it sold. HOWEVER...fate took me to this website and you and your itinerary intrigue me. I am 53 and love to travel, sail, scuba ,swim, kayak, bike, hike etc. Damned if I am too young to retire myself, but my job at the Sheraton Kauai offers good flexibility. SO... I am wondering what possibilities I may be able to join you for a leg or more and fly back to Hawaii to work since you are headed this way. Many years ago, I did this with another boat - met them in the Tuamotos and sailed to Tahiti and then met them several months later in Fiji for a few weeks. What general time frame and stops are you planning once you leave Puerto Vallarta? I am fun, funny, and don't drink or smoke. I will be honest that I don't have a lot of blue water experience, but I learn fast, listen well and have a lot of common sense. Look forward to hearing from you. My direct email is leskathi@aol.com
