Hello, My name is Andrew, and as the title states I'm looking to crew on a
boat from late may through June and possible a few weeks longer depending on the circumstance. I sailed as First Mate on a
Lagoon 450 from Les Sables D'olonne to Marina Del Ray via
panama.
Captain's blog of the trip and
current travels found here;

As First Mate I put in my two cents, when asked, on
navigation,I cleaned daily, cooked on regular, did
engine maintenance, cleaned 8-12lbs dorados, and made sure all guest kept safe and practiced safe procedure as well as made sure they had a great time even in heavy seas.
I have experience, as I'm sure you would expect, hoisting
sails, reefing, Genoe, and a little spinaker
work, and all the
rigging to do so. I've been told, by more than one person, I'm very keen on detail, some times too keen, which I'm sure anyone can pick up on after a few conversations. I'm not a career sailor, at least not yet, so don't expect me to be quoting the book; however I do know a thing or two, some hard learned, others from experienced sailors, and some intuitively. Convince me your a
captain to learn from and I'll convince you I'm the student/sailor you want. any other questions refer to
