Martinique to Annapolis 4/3-5/? on 2008 Lagoon 420

Hi,
I am receiving my boat out of charter in Martinique and having it surveyed on 3/31. Hoping to be ready to leave on 4/3 or 4/4. First stop should be St. Thomas approx 3 days. About a day there and then either a 12 day run to Annapolis MD or a stop in the Bahamas. Depends on weather and conditions. So far it is myself and friend. I am 52 friend is 70 (very good shape). We have quite a bit of sailing experience between us. I have owned a FP Venezia 42 in the past and we took her from Tortola - Sansalvador, Annapolis - Charleston (outside). Ft Lauderdale - Bahahas, and Ft. Lauderdale to Annapolis (outside). We are very easy going. Our last delivery we stopped every day for a swim in the gulf stream. I will have to get back to work but I am not in a great rush

The boat is well equipped, and I would ideally have 2 more crew and the 4 of us can each have their own stateroom and head. If we get a couple I would consider 3 more crew. You don't need to have a lot of experience just a good attitude and be a competent watch stander.

Crew would be responsible for own transit to Martinique and from Annapolis, and split food.
Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,

My husband and I would be interested in joining you. We each have sixteen years of sailing experience. We have sailed in the Caribbean, as well as in the Atlantic, Pacific and Aegean. Right now we own a 2012 Beneteau first 30JK, which we race. We are comfortable with all aspects of sailing a boat. We have raced extensively together on double handed races of up to a hundred miles nonstop. I have sailed a Beneteau 36.7 from BVIs to New York, 1500 miles nonstop with a crew of 4. We are safe, competent, experienced sailors. We are very positive, outgoing and quite useful! As a bonus, I am quite a good cook! We are flexible on dates, and would love to join you.

Hey, looks like I'm third in line here, but let me know if you still need more help. I've been sailing for 35 years. Depending on your schedule, I could possibly offer myself, and wife, or myself and son. Both are looking to build up their resume before we head south on our boat in September.

Hi

Are you still looking for crew? We own a 32 ft PDQ catamaran in the Great Lakes. Would love to get some experience in the Carribean and east coast. We are both 50 and recently retired from the Canadian military.

I may have a full crew. I just wrote to confirm that the last couple to sign on is really going. If not I will PM you as soon as I find out. If I am full, I will post a notice back here. I really thank you for you interest.

Re: Martinique to Annapolis 4/3-5/? on 2008 Lagoon 420

Greetings:

I am an experienced coastal cruiser with limited offshore experience. As I am a teacher, I have a vacation in April from the 18th through the 27th. If you have a crew position available during this timeframe and my sailing resume is satisfactory, I am very interested in joining you.

I have attached my sailing bio.

Best,
