Hi to the happy, married couple.
Possibly this could be right for everyone - I am 66, ( going 55 ) and just bought a Simpson 45 cat in Noosa , near Brisbane. Because I am living on Bali, the boat has to go there.
A bit far to go alone, because a) my wife is not joining , b) there will be a few nights where 3 persons are just ideal to share the watch.

The boat is well equipped with all new instruments and radar. Although it is still Cyclone season, weather warnings give 3 days min. notice and by then the boat can run into any safe harbor or anchorage.

I have limited blue water experience. My present cat, a Wharram Tikky 30, which I take occasionally out between Lombok and Bali. Cannot cook and hope for a capable cookie in the crew.
