Majuro, Marshall Islands to Noumea, New Caledonia

Experienced easy going French skipper (own a captain licence), fluent in French, English, Spanish, own an old but good wharram cat' Tangaroa MK1 well equiped. This cruising is not a commercial cruising by the way.
I am looking for a crew, 1 or 2 people preferably experienced, if you are not experienced then we need to be 3, otherwise 2 people you and me is enough if you are experienced.
The boat is currently in Majuro, Marshall Islands.
I plan to go south thrue Kiribati, Tuvalu and salomons, or vanuatu, weather will decide....
I am ok to share the food fuel, gas, and various administration stuffs that we have to go trough, I am not asking much exept that you are hopefully serious by taking your 2 hours duty on night (2hours you, 2 hours me, 2 hours you, 2 hours me...) and you are a funny guy (or girl)
more info on my email : breizhstarsailor@gmail.com
or skype me at breizhstarsailor
See you soon!

That sounds like a fairly awful night watch.... we tried it once and it didn't work, cos it can take a good while to actually fall asleep, and night watches are tedious so your watch needs to be better rested in order to be alert. I'd think that a minimum of four hours kip would be better

Welcome aboard, BTW!

Re: Majuro, Marshall Islands to Noumea, New Caledonia

Ok, if you prefer 4 hours watch no problem, my cat is fully equiped and has an automatic pilot and a 220 amp battery dedicated to it, plus a wind generator and solar panel dedicated to this brand new battery, so I never have to do anything on it except watching, but when I am saying watching I mean it... It is not a movie, it is serious (and can be fun), when it is about security issues.

Hi there, my name is Fabio,I'm Italian but I'm fluent in Spanish, English and I'm learning french. I'm a easy going person with addiction for traveling,in fact I just finish to cross Africa in my 4WD car; if you want u can check my website at:

VI VERI AFRICAM VIVUS VIDI - home

I am on my around the world ticket for one year at the moment I'm in Montreal working in an Italian restaurant as a chef but I will fly in November to L.A. after a week to Honolulu and after another week to fiji( I can change all flight!) my plan is to stay in the pacific area for a while and looking to become part of a crew sailing anywhere around that part of the world.
When do you think to leave for your voyage? may be I can reach you from Honolulu if date combine...
I don't have a lot of experience, but I am totally in love with the ocean and its my dream to sail the world. I'm up for a lot of hard work whether it be cooking, or helping cruise.I did few "regata" in the Mediterranean only in Italian though.

hope to hearing from you

F.
