Crew Available: Looking to crew (Nov-Dec) anywhere

I am a 32 years old, easy-going, in good health and shape with captain experience, looking for a long distance (1-2 weeks) crew stint at the end of November or December. Preferably some place warm, but open to suggestions. I can pay my own way to/from destination, as I am looking for more blue water experience.

I've been sailing 4+ years. Learned to sail at OCSC in San Francisco Bay with all its famous tides and winds. I currently own a 40' Hanse that I captain around Cape Cod for family/friends. I've captained 3x in BVI with similar sized charters for 7-10 days each time.

I speak Russian, English and bad English.

Anyone got suggestions on how to get on a boat for something like this? Seems that the openings are few and far between. Maybe other forums?

You've already had one response.

We have a hundred forty four thousand members and as such are the largest cruising and sailing forum in the world. You're just going to have to have a bit of patience.

Hoping to go from Miami to southern Bahamas end of December, very small motor/sailer Macgreggor 26M. Went last winter for 3 months in a Hunter 26. I'm new to sailing and not eager to go alone. I also loved diving with the sharks and deep wrecks. Can't do that alone. Lol

infortunately I'm not able to offer a position aboard a vessel going south.
But: my girlfriend und me, a nice couple from Hamburg, Germany, are on vacation in Truro, Cape Cod starting Sept, 17. If you need somebody for bit of daysailing, we will be glad to hear from you. Wolf is a experienced sailor (SF bay, black sea, Mediterranian und around Cape Town SA. Melanie has done not much sailing, but is nice and handsome.
