Looking for offshore sea time

I have a Master 50 Ton Inland and Great Lakes license and over 40 years of sailing experience. My goal is to upgrade to a near coastal credential and in order to do so, I need 90 days of offshore sea time. I am available for 3 - 6 weeks at a time from December 2013 - April 2014. I operate a bare-boat charter company here in Chicago during the summer, so I am only available during the winter months. Just need transportation costs and a little extra to cover expenses.

Re: Looking for offshore sea time

I am looking for experienced crew to move a boat from Martinique to Annapolis. Planning on leaving as soon as the boat is registered US, which I think will take 2-3 weeks. Hope to clear out around the 3rd week in April.

Re: Looking for offshore sea time

I can be available from February 1 - third week of April. I'm in the Strictly Sail Show from Jan 23-28. Would that work for you?

As part of a charter agreement, I can't take possession of the boat until the end of March. My concern is, how long it will take to Flag the boat.

Re: Looking for offshore sea time

I teach ASA sailing courses beginning the last week in April, so I have to be back in Chicago by then. If you get your registration completed, I can be available from the end of Jan, through the last week in April.
