Crew Available: Looking For Boat Crew Opportunity

Good morning
I'm posting this in hopes of finding an opportunity to be crewman on ANY sailing crew. I live at pt richmond on my own 35 cal. I am by no means salty, but I do have have a general knowledge about seamanship. I sailed my boat up to San Francisco from Ventura (pressed for time, I learned that next time I go around point conception, to wait for 14 ft seas, and 40 knot winds to die down), and I also am a Machinery Technitian in the U.S. Coast Guard (active duty). I'm not looking for pay of any sort, just meeting a new sailing community, and possible crewman opportunities (racing on weekends would be highly preferred, but lets be honest, I'm desperate).
Again, any help, or contacts pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
