Re: Looking for Alternative Crew
I am definitely interested in coming along, I am in the Ft. Lauderdale area and seriously contemplating sailing my car and taking off for an adventure. Where are you located, Naples right? Shoot me and email if you are still looking for other crew!

Re: Looking for Alternative Crew
Hello Hobo!
I want to be on your crew! You sound crazy enough to make it possible. And I'm ready for an adventure. I was looking to crew mid January, down south in the Carribean. I'm young, easy going, don't need much to get by or to have a good time. I'm handy, have some experience working on boats and am mechanically minded, I'm tough and strong, and one hell of a good sport. I love animals and I love adventure. I spent this last summer and have become obsessed. I want to improve my skills and throw myself out there. I would be able to share costs and spend a few weeks floating around. Email me at karmellafiebke@gmail.com to talk further.
best,
karmella

Re: Looking for Alternative Crew
Grungy is fine, off shore is a different world, just make sure you care about everything on the boat, most people do not get a second chance at sea when help may be hours or days away if they can find you, hope you have the basics in safety equip. i would go for the fun but i am already on the other side of the world.
Good luck and you only live once so have fun!

Hello, my name is Jeffrey and I am not experienced in sailing at all. I am 33 years old, very healthy, and I learn very quickly (especially when it is hands on). I will be in PA until the middle of March and then I am free to sail until July. j j m y l e s *at* l i v e *dot* com

Check out Webb Chiles and Chidiock Tichbourne, small craft out cruising, some simple self steering techniques. He's published online, free.

Hello, my name is Jeffrey and I am not experienced in sailing. I am 33 years old, very healthy and fit. I learn quickly (especially when it is hands on). I am decently traveled and able to fit in different cultures. I will be in PA until March 18th and then I am free to sail until the end of June. j j m y l e s *at* l i v e *dot* c o m

Re: Looking for Alternative Crew
Well... I am now looking for any one available end of march From Nassau area back to the states. The Crew i have is going to Jump Ship and look for a paid gig over to the Med. If your in the area, or want to fly in to Nassau Mid to end March We can spend a few weeks cruising the Berry islands, North Abaco, And, Bimini. Then Eventually to south Florida somewhere. I'd like to keep an open plan, but willing to B Line it to Florida if your time is limited. Basically share some costs, and be cheap as possible!!!!
