Looking for 1 crew Baja to South Pacific

Minggat is departing Baja in the spring of 2014. Eventual destination (for this voyage) is Fiji. Ideally the individual would be good and planning meals and putting them together, because I am not. But I am will to share responsibilities there as best I can.

Non smoker.

Re: Looking for 1 crew Baja to South Pacific

I'd be very interested.

I'm looking to be crew aboard a long passage, because I'm finally in a place to do what I've wanted - buy a catamaran and circumnavigate. I've done several sailing trips, can provide fresh fish/lobster for the boat (I'm a freediver/spearfisherman) and can generally put things together that are edible (often downright delicious). I take my ceviche and sushi seriously.

Anyways, I have a blog and have spent many hours at sea in really undesirable conditions - like huge seas in freezing weather. Non-smoker but I appreciate a good glass of red wine, a local island rum and the occasional craft beer. You can find a little more out here: The Nomad Trip | A Lifestyle Design Experiment , and my email is (firstname) at thenomadtrip.com

Cheers,
-Nate

Hi Minggat!

I am very interested and I am a wonderful cooker (i am italian and I know Mediterranean, Italian and Spanish dishes)!
I will be in Baja during this spring 2014 with my boyfriend and we are looking for a boat to cross the ocean!
(Now we cross the Atlantic ocean on a sailing boat from Spain till the Caribbean).

Damià has already cross the Ocean and he has the nautical license.
He is an aeronautical engineer and last time helped to repair the solar panel of the sail boat where he was.
Me I started to sail in the Menorca regata and I worked as hostess on a private motor yacht where I watch guard during the evening trip, I washed the boat, I cooked for the family and I stayed with the children.
I have done a sailing training and I am studying to take my license.

My mail is marialaura.dolfi(at)gmail.com

If you are interested I can send you our cv by mail!

Cheers,

Marialaura

Hey Minggat,

I have planned a cooked for up to 12 on multi-day trips for the outdoor organization I worked for in University, I'm your man!

I spent 8 days sailing from Guatemala to Mexico and was extremely comfortable. Am also a Divemaster so know my scuba, am strong swimmer, and not half bad with a spear.

Re: Looking for 1 crew Baja to South Pacific

Hello

Are you still looking for crew for crossing the Pacific?
I am currently in central America and looking for crewing oportunities for crossing the Pacific:

I am 21 years old from Scotland, I have good sailing experience from sailing across the Atlantic, in the Caribbean and Europe. I am a helpful and friendly crew member who is easy to get along with. I am willing to travel to where your boat is if needed.

Please contact me if you are interested, I can send you more information about myself and my experience as you wish.

I hope to hear from you soon
Kindest regards
Colin
