Crew Available: Is This Just the Wrong Time of Year?

I'm looking to work my way across the Atlantic, from the US to Europe, however it seems that I might have missed the season.

Is that the case? Any info is helpful.

You are right. Most boats will have crossed in the late spring time frame, to get across before hurricane season. A hurricane brushed by the Azores last week, which is a common stopping point after Bermuda.

You would have a lot more luck trying to cross in May or June next year.
